Seven vacant job positions at Amazon Nigeria – Apply
Amazon, the American e-commerce firm, is searching for competent candidates for seven positions in Lagos, Nigeria. According to a rumor, the e-commerce platform would begin operations in Nigeria in April 2023, hence creating Amazon Nigeria for its Nigerian clients.
Associate solution architect, Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) startup scaling team; startup segment leader, Sub-Saharan Africa, Amazon Web Services (AWS) startups; managing partner sales manager, Nigeria, and Kenya, according to Amazon.
Others include a startup accountant manager for AWS in Sub-Saharan Africa, a solutions architect for AWS in Sub-Saharan Africa, a senior solutions architect for WWPS in West Africa, and an enterprise account manager in Nigeria.
Amazon made an exemption for the post of corporate account manager, stating that it will “be headquartered in the UAE to begin, to transfer to Nigeria.”
The corporate account manager would “help foster the growth and influence the future of a developing technology,” according to Amazon.
In addition, Amazon said that the senior solutions architect would be in charge of managing the technical engagement and eventual success of specific implementation projects and working cross-organizationally to enable wider usage and acceptance of the AWS platform.
Meanwhile, the e-commerce platform stated that the favored applicant for the solutions architect post must have expertise in “designing, implementing, restructuring, or running IT systems – either on-premises or in the cloud,” among other credentials.
” Candidates for the new start account manager, Sub-Saharan Africa, AWS are required to have a minimum of 10 years experience in pioneering sales, business growth, or sales engineering/consulting in domains such as Cloud, SaaS, and IoT analytics, Mobile, and eCommerce,” Amazon stated.
” The best candidate for the post of senior partner sales director is expected to have business experience that enables them to network with Partners, Clients, and sales/field reps at the CxO level.”
Amazon stated that AWS Entrepreneurs, the startup category leader in Sub-Saharan Africa, will assist startups in Africa to generate revenue and market share; reach or surpass quarterly revenue objectives, among other things.
The recommended applications for the associate solutions architect position must also have expertise in building cloud-based technology solutions, with startup work experience a plus.
